The PHCCare Plus Health Plan has arrived. PHCC members have asked for this benefit for years and now it is available for members only, like you.
Why have we developed this program for PHCC contractor members? Members listed health insurance as one of their major concerns in recent member surveys and nationwide, health insurance is typically a contractor's second largest employer expense. PHCC members have shared with me that they want to offer employees comprehensive healthcare benefits, but rising costs are forcing them to decrease or eliminate their health benefits programs all together, which makes it difficult to recruit and retain a quality work force.
PHCC members now have access to affordable health benefits for themselves and their employees through the new PHCCare Plus health plan. This plan allows firms with two or more employee's to provide comprehensive, affordable medical benefits, in many cases saving 10% - 15% off the cost of similar benefits from a commercial health insurer.
In addition to medical benefits, the PHCCare Plus Health Plan offers dental benefits, vision coverage, prescription drug benefits and employee life insurance coverage. There are many plans available, including the new tax-advantaged Health Savings Accounts (HSA), so one can customize coverage to fit their particular needs.
Any successful medical program has to offer an extensive network of providers. Again, the PHCC plan has you covered. The PHCCare Plus Health Plan has access to the Private Healthcare Systems (PHCS) network, the largest PPO network in the US with over 450,000 doctors and 4,000 hospitals. And if PHCS does not have your preferred doctors or hospitals, PHCC members have access to more than 20 other national and regional PPO networks to choose from.
