Continuing Education Information

All Louisiana Journeymen and Master Plumbers wishing to renew their plumbing license for 2010 must first complete the required continuing education requirements in 2009. Journeymen must complete 4 hours and Master Plumbers must complete 6 hours in order to renew their license in 2010. As a course provider for the State Plumbing Board, the Louisiana Association of Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors (LAPHCC) is working hard to bring Continuing Education classes to many locations across the state during 2009.

Please note: You will not be required to take a test. There is no exam involved with the Continuing Education program.

What the LAPHCC
Can Do For You

The LAPHCC works to benefit the P-H-C Industry. Your membership will help the organization continue working on issues of major interest and importance to P-H-C Contractors in the state.

As a member of LAPHCC you are automatically a member of the National Association. With this dual membership you have available to you information on such things as: Skilled labor, Apprenticeship, Technical and HVAC Information, Continuing Education Credits, Business Management, as well as Recordkeeping and Advertising.

LAPHCC holds its Annual Convention and Trade Show in the summer. This is an excellent opportunity for you to see the latest in P-H-C technology, as well as network with your local contractors.

About the LAHPCC

The LAPHCC is working hard to be a significant force in our industry. We are currently working on a Continuing Education program and an Apprenticeship Program, both of which will bring added membership incentives and create a more well-trained workforce. Recently, LAPHCC has provided some great educational opportunities and members have been heavily engaged with legislative matters. LAPHCC is also partnering with the Gulf Force Development Initiative to connect skilled labor with our members.
